PM: Energy infra attacks can trigger avoidable escalation
Modi said after talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II that attacks on energy infrastructure in West Asia were condemnable and could lead to avoidable escalation. The PM didn’t name Israel or Iran. “India and Jordan stand in support of unhindered transit of goods and energy,” PM posted on X. Govt separately said that such attacks on energy installations are unacceptable and need to cease. It recalled that it had previously called for avoiding the targeting of civilian infrastructure, including energy infrastructure, across the region.
InVITs’ asset to grow ₹1 lakh crore in FY26: CareEdge
Chennai: Assets under management (AUM) of Infrastructure Investment Trusts (InvITs) is likely to grow by ₹1 lakh crore during FY26, said CareEdge Ratings.

New rail bridge alongside Loha Pul ready for train ops
New Delhi: Following a decade-long delay marked by missed deadlines and multiple challenges, the new rail bridge built alongside Delhi’s historic Loha Pul is now ready for train operations. A senior Northern Railway official said, “We recently conducted a trial run, and received clearance from the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS).” He added that the train operations have already begun in one direction — from Delhi towards the Delhi-Shahdara section — and services for trains coming into Delhi will commence soon.
